Project Engineer

Job Description The Project Engineer isresponsible for leading cross functional teams in the development, production launch, and manufacturing improvements of Commercial Truck products. This position will support theIndustrialization groups' activities in our NA facilities. Job Requirements oEstablishes project objectives by analyzing proposals and collaborating with management. oPossesses a high level of technical aptitude to provide technical project insight, advice and support. oAbility to take on a wide variety of job functions within a project including hands-on technical support. oEstablishing project plan by determining time frame, funding, savings, and staffing; approving project schedule. oEstablishes and achieves financial objectives by preparing a project budget; scheduling and approving expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. oConfirms project performance by establishing standards; testing requirements. oPrepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. oAccountable for delivering project objectives. oMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. oControls project plan and schedule changes. Monitors scope of project/project and the need for management attention. QUALIFICATIONS oBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required or equivalent years' experience. o5-7 years' experience in manufacturing engineering is required, including multiple functions such as experience in operations, materials, quality, sales, and project management is a benefit. oDemonstrated management, leadership and communication skills are required. oHands-on experience in the launch of a new product and/or manufacturing process is required. oExperience using Concept to Customer methodology or equivalent APQP or Project Management Life Cycle process is required. oPMP certification is preferred. oExpert knowledge of CNC machining, complex automation with PLC background, special machines, simple to complex tooling systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and robotics preferred. oIndustry working knowledge in automotive drivetrain components. oStrong technical knowledge base of metal based processes (machining, forming, forging' welding, etc.). oAbility to travel up to 50% of the time required.(Potential international travel)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
