Fire Protection Engineer

Power generation client is currently seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to work at the Catawba Nuclear Site in York, SC. This is a 1 year CONTRACT position, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates are preferred, but per diem will be considered for highly qualified candidates.
Responsibilities for the Fire Protection Engineer
Support the NFPA 805 activities such as calculation reviews and approvals, design basis document development and review and regulatory document changes
Support the Fire Protection Engineer and share his duties
Provide updates to the NFPA 805 Project Schedule
Requirements for the Fire Protection Engineer
4 year engineering degree
Minimum of 5 years nuclear power plant experience
Minimum of 2 years as a Fire Protection Engineer at a nuclear plant
Experience working with engineering calculations and design basis documents
Should have Fire Protection program management experience and not 'system' only experience
Should have NFPA 805 fire protection program experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
