Power generation client is currently seeking a Project Manager responsible for managing project scope, time, cost, risk, and quality for assigned projects of increased complexity and size in York, SC. This is a 1 year CONTRACT position, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates are preferred, but per diem will be considered for highly qualified candidates.
Responsibilities for the Project Manager
Accountable for managing the resolution of quality issues, and completes assignments (proposals, project tasks, reports, etc.) within negotiated budgets and schedules.
Accountable for mentoring and coaching Project Manager I and Associate Project Managers.
Responsible for all phases of project initiation, planning, execution, and close out to ensure project success factors are met, including but not limited to scope, schedule, cost, quality, testing, ALARA, environmental safety, and communications for all site work associated with assigned projects.
Requirements for the Project Manager
Baccalaureate Degree in Technical or Business curriculum plus completion of 10 years relevant experience, or Masters Degree in same plus completion of 9 years relevant experience, or at least 12 years relevant and equivalent experience
Proven track red as a Project Manager, Senior Project Control Specialist, or equivalent on the following types of projects: Fixed Price, Time and Materials, Cost Plus
Proven track record of PMI Guide to Project Management Book of Knowledge
