The HR Manager reports to the General Manager and is responsible for planning, directing and supervising all aspects and activities of the Human Resources function for the company. He or she develops and implements policies, procedures, and programs which are in compliance with laws, rules and regulations governing areas of Human Resources. These policies and programs should include employment, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, employee benefits and training and development.

Responsibilities
Human Resources Operations - plans, directs, and manages the daily activities of the HR Department
Recruiting & Placement Practices - implements and manages standard practices and procedures

Employee Relations: hands-on, walk around the plant
Benefits & Payroll: ADP
Recruiting: professional + in the plant

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources - Psychology, Employee Relations, or Management acceptable
Minimum 7 years of increasing responsibilities in Human Resources
Strong Knowledge - Benefits Administration, Recruitment and Employee Selection, Compensation, and Employee Relations
Equivalent Combination of Education, Training and Experience - must provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
