Job Description:
Essential duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Perform specialty testing on product by using gauges such as paint thickness coating gage, Gauss meter, parallelism gage, and digital height gage.
Perform daily work activities (receiving inspection, DMNs, analysis reports, product testing, etc.
) by following work instructions.
Obtain word drawings, blueprints and BOMs by entering data using various types of computer software.
Check parts for blueprint specifications and GD&T by obtaining information from print and using gauges to determine if part is within specifications.
Know how to check parts using various gauges.
Fill out log books by taking readings and recording information.
Maintain filing system by properly filing information and finding information when needed.
Performs SPC functions by plotting high and low readings, averages and ranges onto charts.
Performs nonconforming procedures by tagging materials, filling out DMN and following required work instructions.
Take pictures of products by using cameras and be able to label pictures accurately.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED certificate is required.
All new hires are required to take ACT's WorkKeys assessment for the profiled Quality Technician classification.
Must be able to create and read charts by using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
Must be able to create and read reports by using Microsoft Word documents.
Must be able to read and understand basic blueprints.
