We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Associate with solid computer skills to include ERP experience in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities under the direction of the immediate supervisor:
Assist in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of a full ERP system Update system with order details (dates, vendor quantities, discounts) Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs Track orders and ensure timely delivery Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts Follow up with suppliers, as needed to confirm or change orders Requirements and skills:
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience Minimum 2 years' work experience as a Purchasing Associate, Purchasing Assistant or similar role in a manufacturing environment Minimum 2 years' hands-on work experience with a full ERP system Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office to include MS Excel Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks Ability to develop productive relationships with teammates and coordinate workflows Experience in a manufacturing environment working with mechanical products, parts and tools Quickbooks experience helpful Job Type:
